I wish to express my thanks and congratulations to your company for the excellent First Aid Course which i participated in recently. In all the years of undertaking First Aid, particularly Level 2 Workplace First Aid, as i was in the manufacturing industry, i have never encountered such detail and professionalism. It astounded me that here i was, at this tender age, learning for the first time a few salient facts like: 1. How anti venom is made 2. Use of coca cola instead of vinegar on stings 3. That venom from a bite is spread through the lymph system not the blood 4. how your head ache is often caused by decrease of fluid surrounding the skull
and obviosuly a few more facts which made me feel grateful that i had chosen your company.
Your eLearning was an eye opener as i had never completed an on line course before, so thank you for the experience. The presentation and factual information for me was outstanding. It was easy to retain information as it related to many familiar situations and was simple and straight forward.
All staff that i encountered were very courteous, helpful and polite and are an absolute credit to your establishment.
Please pass on my sentiments to all concerned. I shall definitely be recommending everyone who is keen to learn first aid to your company.
I just would like to inform you of a story that occured around 1 month ago at my place of employment. I had just arrived at work at the Palmwoods State School around 6am. I just happen to be getting out my care, around the same time a council ute had also pulled up, we noticed an elderly gentleman slumped against the fence. He wasnt breathing and had no pulse so we commenced CPR right away, other people arrived to assist us, for calling the ambulance and police. We continued working on him for around 20 minutes or so. During the course of this, i was asking bystanders if anyone knew him, a lady said she knew his name and he had a history of heart problems, i got someone to check his pockets for medication, but he had none and no identification. The paramedics arrived and continued to try and revive him, unfortunately he passed away. The Police and Paramedics thanked us for trying to do our best. I received a phone call from his son a day or so later, he was so grateful that people had tried to keep his dad alive. I just would like to thank you personally at National First Aid for giving me the knowledge, confidence and skills to assist this elderly gentleman. I have no hesitation in recommending people do their training via your wonderful organisation. All the best.
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us and making First Aid training so interesting and easy to learn.
Keep up the great work.
